Senior Tax Accountant

Primary Responsibilities
The Senior Tax Accountant will report directly to the Senior Tax Manager and will provide support for both the tax provision and tax compliance process. This roll will receive diverse exposure to various domestic and international tax issues.
Position Responsibilities
This position will have a primary focus on the following areas:
Support all aspects of domestic and international tax compliance including the preparation and timely filing of the consolidated federal income tax return and related state income and franchise tax returns
Assist with the preparation of the Company s foreign tax credit, research credit and domestic production deduction computations
Preparation of the Company s quarterly federal and state estimated income tax payments
Reconciliation of the Company s domestic and foreign tax balance sheet accounts
Assist with the preparation of the Company s global income tax provision and related financial statement disclosures
Support the implementation of OneSource Tax Provision
Assist with the preparation of quarterly subsidiary transfer pricing adjustments
Provide support as required for various federal, state and local income tax audits
Research tax issues as required
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor s degree in accounting
1 to 5 years of public accounting and/or industry accounting experience including income tax accounting and compliance
CPA and/or MST preferred but not required
Strong written, verbal and organizational skills
Demonstrates the ability to be hands- on and the willingness to accept challenging projects outside areas of experience
Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with enterprise reporting systems such as Oracle, SAP and Hyperion/HFM
