Responsible for providing community, client, partner education and training through speaking engagements and meetings. In addition, this role is accountable for the creation of content in written and verbal form. Responsible for participating at community events (VMUG, vForum, vendor events) to support the field sales team?s needs for visibility to the influencers of the B2B technology buying cycle. Also will be responsible for providing support for the identification of alternative methods and locations to influence and educate the community.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for growing and serving the NaviSite, VMware and other Cloud Computing Infrastructure ecosystem community of users and influencers by engaging with Developers, IT Operations Team Members, System Architects, CTO/CIO/COOs, Media and Bloggers and Podcast hosts.
Will participate in community events, meetups, webinars, phone calls and meetings to help further the knowledge of cloud computing infrastructure as a service.
Responsible for provide technical expertise and advisory recommendations on deployment architectures, and handle in-depth technical questions during meetings, events and calls to prospective and existing partners and customers, with the goal to build long-term business relationships and become a trusted advisor within each account.
Gathers feedback about user needs to help shape the NaviSite product roadmap.
Articulates NaviSite?s value proposition, present product and service information, and build value throughout the sales process to all departments of the partner and their customer's organization in support of the selection of NaviSite.
Drives product awareness through various community channels.
Provides feedback from community to product development team regarding product design and direction.
Remains knowledagble of technology trends and industry leaders with the community.
Builds relationships and engages with targeted community to create awareness and enthusiasm for the product.
Participates in conversations on blogs, forums and other technical communities.
Monitors trends in discussion topics, social channels and competitor landscape.
Champions a great experience for Navisite product users, and escalated and anticipates issues, works cross functionally to manage bottlenecks and balances business needs versus team constraints.
