In the Business Solutions group at TWC/IBM, we support media station groups and their local affiliates with the products and services they need to deliver the most compelling, contextually relevant weather story, across all platforms and devices. We know that weather is the ultimate daily decision tool and local broadcasters are often in the best position to provide the hyper-local information their audiences need.
As an Offering Manager in The Weather Company's media group, you will join a dynamic team focused on delivering state-of-the-art solutions and best-in-class media visualizations to the demanding broadcast, cable and satellite television markets around the globe. You will act as champion for assigned products, driving detailed user requirements through release to customers, acting as product owner in an Agile development team. You will drive the product design, software, data, and forecast engineering, quality assurance, documentation, customer support and domestic and international sales and marketing for your products.
The successful candidate should have a deep knowledge of the media/broadcast market and the particular challenges facing that market. You will be able to offer creative and fresh product, pricing, packaging, and promotion ideas for successful product launches in a challenging environment. You will help coordinate external marketing and collateral material including promotional videos, brochures, white papers, and press releases. You will have ample opportunity to act as evangelist for your products, participating in trade shows, user group and industry conferences, plus travel to customer and partner sites in the US and abroad.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
