Senior Payroll Specialist

Kforce has a client in Andover, MA that is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist.Responsibilities Include:
Process payroll
Compile and maintain time and attendance data
Research and interpret regulatory requirements
Resolve tax, withholding, garnishment and wage/hour issues
Process sales commissions and bonus payments
Apply for tax ID's
Ensure payroll reporting and payments are within compliance
Respond to auditing and regulatory inquiries
Maintain payroll records
Verify, remit and finalize the transmission of employee salary deductions
Respond to verification of employment requests
Provide support during financial audits
Review and process garnishments
Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting
5 - 7 years of experience in payroll preparation for a multi-location organization resolving complex payroll processing and employee payroll issues
3 years of experience in Payroll Systems (ADP Workforce Now, ADP Enhanced Enterprise, SAP, and Ceridian)
Experience with SAP a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong customer service skills
Able to deal sensitively with confidential material

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
