Sales Engineer, Broadcast Media for The Weather Company

The Weather Company, an IBM Business is seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to work with the media sales team and support sales of all on-air and digital products. The SE will also work closely with the digital sales team and customer advertising sales managers to support new, evolving ad revenue business models. This includes supporting all media products, including weather and traffic. The SE is the subject matter expert (SME) and technical lead within media sales and marketing by providing feedback from customers to TWC‚ s Marketing and Engineering teams on new product feature requirements.
+ Prepare and deliver detailed product demonstrations and best practices presentations to prospects, customers and partners
+ Support sales activities on a technical level at exhibitions, trade shows, user groups and conferences
+ Provide ongoing customer feedback to the marketing team, focusing on improving the insights and challenger sales tools
+ Work with product management and development teams to provide valuable input for improvements to existing products, related documentation and new system development
+ Build library of specific ROI customer success stories, defining best practices, and educating sales team
+ Work with Group Leaders on building digital strategies for targeted groups. Attend C-Level corporate meetings
+ Act as a Technical Account Manager (TAM) for selected large media accounts to improve their success in using TWC digital products
+ Ability to travel extensively, including internationally
+ Assist in the creation and execution of demonstration material to be used in product collateral including brochures, video and DVD presentations
+ Maintain technical proficiency, competitive knowledge and industry trends
+ At least 5 years' experience working with broadcast on air software and/or digital solutions
+ Competence in meteorological practices and knowledge of standard meteorological data set
+ Demonstrated knowledge of the local stations‚ digital advertising model and the ability to apply technology and product knowledge to help them better monetize their digital assets

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
