Brokerage Retirement Resource Associate

Position Highlights
The Retirement Resource Center Service Rep handles service calls from current Empower Retirement IRA customers and their advisors. The primary goal is to support existing IRA customers with their operational and technical needs. The chosen candidate will have a strong focus on the efficient handling of a high volume of customer service calls and will provide assistance to the IRA sales and service teams as necessary. Knowledge of IRA products and general expertise on Brokerage IRA products and services preferred. Series 7 & 63 insurance license required within 90 days of hire.
Primary Responsibilities
Answer and respond appropriately to operational and procedural inquiries from current IRA shareholders via telephone. Demonstrate resourcefullness to deliver accurate product information and great service. Handle a high level of requests for forms, help IRA owners complete forms, and provide updates on paperwork processing status.
Demonstrate an enhanced knowledge Empower Retirement's IRA products and services through practical application with customers including: requests for general account information, concerns related to withdrawals, changes to an account, product information, and tax questions.
Initiate proactive/follow-up phone calls on pending issues to ensure timely and satisfactorily completion. Effectively diagnose client issues and problems and demonstrate appropriate insight and judgement to identify and explore exception processing possibilities and escalations. Demonstrate knowledge of transaction requirements
Actively participates in staff meetings, product seminars/training, etc., in support of strategic department and firm initiatives.
Bachelor Degree required
FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 and Insurance licenses required within 90 days of hire date
2+ years telephone based customer service experience required.
IRA specific customer service experience preferred.
Demonstrated organizational skills;
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills;
Comprehensive PC skills including ability to quickly learn Empower Retirement's recordkeeping system and Sales Force software.
Solid practical understanding of Empower Retirement's policies and procedures as well as our product offerings and the mutual fund industry.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
