Job Description
Contributes to the development of complex digital designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits
Evaluates all aspects of the process flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use.
Capable of presenting new work/concepts/analysis to Integration team.
Provide technical assessment of projects/designs to Integration management team
Works closely with RTL/Architecture team to understand datapath/floorplan flow of complex digital circuits
Good team player able to work with other Asic Design/Layout engineers and managers across geography in a matrix organization
Job Requirements
BSCS or BSEE or equivalent required, MSEE is a plus, with at least 6 years of related experience
Strong knowledge of physical design tools (floor-planning, placement, CTS, routing, parasitic extraction, and physical verification)
Strong experiences in different high speed/low power circuits, power management design, dynamic circuit techniques and power circuit techniques
Strong working knowledge of scripting languages (Perl, Tcl etc.)
Experience with Signal Integrity/Power Integrity. (Knowledge of Apache Redhawk is a plus)
Experience with complex SOC integrations that include high speed interfaces like DDR subsystems
Custom layout knowledge including layout of analog/IO cells
The candidate for this position must be able to work independently, have the ability to put in place new procedures, and complete multiple parallel tasks on time.
Design experience and background in low power, high speed applications.
Working knowledge of synthesis tools.
Strong working knowledge of timing closure tools.
Working knowledge of formal verification tools.
Familiarities with Development of design methodology, flow automation and improvements.
Strong written/oral communication skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
