Mgr NGS Accounting & Analysis
Open to any NGS location
Manages accounting and finance functions. Provides financial leadership, decision support and strategic direction. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Prepares month end closing of statutory and GAAP financial statements.
Prepares annual operating/capital budget and quarterly forecasts.
Prepares comprehensive analysis of financial and statistical results to support Sr. Management.
Coordinates with actuarial on reserve calculations and re-insurance agreements.
Prepares internal management reporting.
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Requires a BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; 8-10 years of progressively more responsible experience in a Controller or senior financial management position with a medium to large insurance company; CPA, CFM, CMA or other relevant designation required; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA or Masters in Accounting preferred.
