As a team, Advanced Analytics employs informatics, statistical and analytical expertise in the areas of product development, provider and clinical reporting and program evaluation to support the achievement of our business goals. Our team is expanding to provide robust strategic and consultative support to our Care Management business partners.
The /Director, Clinical Informatics and Reporting/ will have responsibility for advancing Anthem ?s analytical capabilities in measuring our population health programs performance in terms of quality of care and efficiency of care. As the healthcare industry continues to evolve, it?s critically important to accurately and fairly measure clinical performance to enable a wide range of population health initiatives. This position will include the direction of a team of analytical resources to develop and advanced the analytical methodologies used for measuring program performance, and to support, directly or indirectly, the development of Anthem?s clinical strategy.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing a team of analysts to deliver consultative, analytically focused solutions to business partners. The candidate should have deep analytical experience, knowledge of the analytical tools and methodology used to measure provider performance, and proven ability to execute analytical solutions.
Essential duties to include, but are not limited to:
Lead and develop the analytical center of excellence for program performance measure, which include the metrics, methodologies, best practices of the provider performance measurement analytics.
Provide analytical consulting to internal customers and other analytical functions on how to apply data insights to develop solutions and drive business results.
Keep apprised of the development of the analytics tools and methodology to ensure any new tools and methodology in this domain are incorporated into our approach
Lead the execution process of producing analytical tools and instruments for program performance measurement.
Management of a group of exempt-level associates involved in the analysis of data to support the development and execution of program performance measure analytics
Management of large portfolio projects including direct and indirect staffing assignments
Management of deliverables and prioritization processes with internal and external resources to ensure analytical commitments are met
Management duties to include hiring, training, coaching, counseling and evaluating performance of direct reports.
Qualifications
? BA/BS and 8-10 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
? Excellent communication, analytical, planning and managerial skills required
? 5 years experience in providing analytical direction for professional exempt employees is required
? Healthcare experience and graduate degree in an analytical field of study is strongly preferred
? Knowledge of analytical tools, statistical techniques, health care data, provider performance assessment and analysis, care management programs and services, and customer information needs is strongly preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
