Sr Manager, Tradeshow/Events

Key Areas of Responsibility:
+ Support the creation of replicable event marketing platforms and enable successful implementation with measurable results
+ Develop and drive sponsorship strategy for each event; in line with brand goals and HealthTech positioning
+ Support internal Philips events, sales meetings (eg: Mega Meeting), User groups, KOL meetings
+ Ensure synchronized and robust content strategy, messaging, syndication and surround strategies for every event (with the support of the Center Of Content Excellence)
+ Build strong relationships with Industry Associations and negotiate optimal space/sponsorship opportunities.
+ Ensure all Philips ?brands? and products/solutions are represented based on audience profile, interest and competitive strategy.
+ Promote Philips Thought Leadership across major events, sponsorship and speaking forums
+ Consult and collaborate with all sales and marketing organizations to ensure we deliver an environment that will drive preference, progress pipelines and differentiate Philips in the marketplace. Ensure high impact results and performance
+ Provide support, leadership, expertise for the Sleep and Respiratory business and beyond long term
_10-15 years proven experience managing major multinational trade shows and events_
+ Advanced degree in Marketing or Communications
+ Strong acumen in Agency management and collaboration
+ Demonstrated expertise in effective multi-channel event deliver (PR, Social, Proprietary, Exhibit, Sponsorship, Executive/Thought Leader promotion, Pre/Post promotion, metrics)
+ Strong ability to interact and influence stakeholders across the organization, including C-level executives
+ Experience in leveraging a global sponsorship strategy
+ Knowledge and understanding of unique event rules and requirements in key cities around the world
+ Capable of planning and executing world-class internal and external events, incentives and surround strategies
+ Manage large and complete budgets

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
