The Marketing Manager, Customer Development takes a leading role in reinforcing the Straumann value proposition among dental professionals while supporting direct and indirect patient marketing. Located in Andover, MA, this individual will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to develop value added programs and services for North America (US and Canada). The successful candidate is one who strives to understand VOC and embraces learning opportunities through field sales, inside sales, customer service and other key constituents. This person is able to filter input from multiple sources and develop a clear recommendation that maximizes success. Must have a strategic vision with a roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic, be able to participate effectively in and also lead cross-functional teams, including global colleagues.
Primary Responsibilities
+ Create, implement and manage customer development programs, ensuring alignment with business strategy and goals (e.g. including but not limited to patient education, practice growth tools, loyalty programs, value-added services through strategic partnerships)
+ Apply appropriate market research methods to gain VOC depending on urgency and sample size significance (e.g. qualitative research via customer visits, tradeshow discussions and focus groups; quantitative surveys to assess customer satisfaction, unmet needs and net promoter score)
+ Use VOC as a guide to develop programs and communications
+ Provide creative direction to develop marketing communications; be able to jump in and craft key messaging and content under time and resource constraints
+ Monitor and report on competitive activity and insight to the marketing, education, sales and strategic alliance teams, helping to ensure Straumann maintains a unique value proposition
+ Develop and implement communications in support of new programs, ranging from microsites and e-blasts to print collateral; develop training materials for sales teams, sales support and customer facing roles
+ Be an internal champion for customer development initiatives, keeping senior leaders updated and aligned
+ Produce reports containing analytics on all campaigns / initiatives and present data in a concise, consistent way with learnings and recommendations for improvements
+ Develop and manage annual marketing communications calendar for customer experience programs and align with department to prioritize and ensure overall strategic organizational objectives are the goal
+ Oversee routine duties in support of customer develop initiatives, such as managing supply of educational materials, obtaining and preparing vendor, project estimates, purchase requisitions
+ Support annual budget planning and spend throughout the year
+ Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Communications or other related field
+ 5+ years marketing experience, preferably in medical device or regulated industry; dental industry experience is a plus
+ Self-starter with proactive approach to work
+ Demonstrated experience across multiple channels, including print, digital and social media
+ Knowledge of effective website components and navigation; ability to identify enhancements
+ Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills with ability to write and present clear, effective and logical messaging
+ Exceptional focus and drive with an ability to reprioritize and remain poised and professional

+ 10-15% travel required with flexibility over nights & weekends

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
