Solutions Consultant

The Solutions Consultant supports the sales process by demonstrating ArasPLM products and securing the "technical close" in complex solutions. The SolutionsConsultant collaborates with community, consulting, engineering, and productmanagement resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions thataccurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by keycustomer technical decision-makers.
Responsibilities
Proactively scope the technical solutionrequired to address customer requirements, assess customers' met and unmetneeds, and recommend solutions that optimize value for both the customer andthe company.
Receive input from all necessary solutionstakeholders via community development and adapt solution demonstrations, asnecessary, to ensure a clear representation of how the company's productaddresses the customers' needs and will ultimately provide a benefit to thecustomer.
Become an expert in Aras PLM technologies anddevelop a keen understanding of Aras' competitive advantages.
Provide coaching and professional development toteam-member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge,technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
Pursue additional business developmentopportunities with existing subscribers.
Willingness to travel
Skills
A proven track record in demonstratingPLM and other enterprise solutions enabling new client acquisition.
A proven track record in solution salesto large enterprise clients.
Minimum of four years demonstratingSoftware Solutions as a PSE or in a sales role including hands-on experiencewith PLM systems.
Able to develop complete and accurateproposals with minimal need for review.
Excellent listening skills; clear and concise delivery of message
Able to develop complete and accuratewritten proposals with minimal need for review
Knowledge of consultativesolution-based selling as evidenced via experience with a solutions sellingmethodology
Hands-on skills with PLM systems
Deep familiarity with processes andpeople typical in organizations considering enterprise software purchase

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
