Casa Systems, Inc. seeks to hire a Senior/Principal Software Engineer Data Path to join its growing software development team. Position reports to the Director, Software Engineering Systems
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Performs work on multi-core/multi-thread embedded telecommunication systems.
Enhances the data path code to take advantage of the multi-core/multi-thread architecture.
Increases the performance of data path.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
computer
Science or Electrical Engineering and 5-10 years of related software development engineering experience in the telecom network industry for Senior Level position or 10
years of related software development engineering experience in the telecom network industry for Principal Level position.
Familiar with multi-core/multi-thread embedded systems
Fluent in C programming
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Familiar with data path performance and optimization a plus
Able to quickly learn new technologies, as required
Able to work in a high-pressure environment
Problem solver Able to be resourceful and figure things out
Self-confident Able to express opinions and influence effectively
Professional demeanor
