Principal Software Engineer BSP and Linux Driver
Casa Systems, Inc. seeks to hire a Principal Software Engineer BSP and Linux Driver to join its growing software development team. Position reports to the VP of Software Engineering.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Performs work on multi-core/multi-thread CPUs.
Provides board support package and Linux driver for various peripherals.
Works with hardware team to review schematics, troubleshoot hardware and bring up board.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
computer
Science or Electrical Engineering and 10
years of related software development engineering experience in the telecom network industry
Familiar with multi-core CPUs
Familiar with bootrom and Linux drivers
Fluent in C programming
Experience in embedded systems
Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Ability to communicate and work with other teams
Able to quickly learn new technologies, as required
Able to work in a high-pressure environment
Problem solver Able to be resourceful and figure things out
Self-confident Able to express opinions and influence effectively
Professional demeanor
