Staff ARFID Clinician FT (Virtual) Located in the VA, DC, MD Area The Clinician provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Program DirectorHours:
Full-Time
Qualifications:
PhD, PsyD, Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling Minimum of 2 years' experience providing direct clinical care in a mental health setting, preferably in an eating disorders program Independent License, preferred CPR certification, required VA/DC/MD License, preferred Must have strong clinical, organizational and communication skillMust possess knowledge of psychiatric group process, therapeutic relationships processes, age specific growth and development, limit setting and behavior management, crisis management with aggressive behaviors
Responsibilities:
Provide clinical social work and case management in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Walden Behavioral Care and the NASWConduct psychosocial assessments, participate in treatment planning, utilization review, and discharge planning for an average of 8 patientsManage cases in both the partial hospital and intensive outpatient programs for eating disordersManage cases for the adult/adolescent populations.
