Administrative Assistant (PT)

Harbor Management is seeking a qualified, motivated and experienced Administrative Assistant for a 98-unit, Cooperative property located in Beverly, MA.
This is a part-time role, with options for a flexible schedule.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in residential property management, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - JOB DESCRIPTION I.
BASIC FUNCTIONA.
Act as the first point of contact between residents and the management office.
B.
Work with residents and management to identify resident needs.
C.
Assist the property manager with daily tasks to make the office run smoothly.
II.
RELATIONSHIPSA.
Reports to On-Site Manager.
B.
Maintains relationships with other staff members, current and prospective tenants.
III.
RESPONSIBILITIESThe activities listed below are not all inclusive.
However, they are indicative of the type of activities normally performed by the administrative assistant.
1.
Greeting tenants, assisting with questions/needs2.
Answering the phone3.
Office filing4.
Preparing letters and documents5.
Creating work orders based on tenant requests and maintenance needs.
IV.
QUALIFICATIONSA.
High school education or equivalent.
B.
Some previous residential property manager experience is preferred, willing to train the right candidate.
C.
Compatible with wide range of people.
D.
Customer service experience.
E.
Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
