The Assistant Teacher will work a full-time schedule as a float in our early childhood classrooms with our EEC certified teachers aiding with classroom activities, maintaining a clean and neat classroom environment, and assisting with the physical and minimal health needs of the student which may include lifting, positioning, seating, feeding, toileting/diapering, and mobility.
The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 40 hours weekly.
The program runs 8:
30 am - 4:
30 pm and operates on a 12-month calendar.
Work schedules are assigned between the program's operating hours.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent Previous experience caring for young children preferred Commitment to caring for the wellbeing of young children Excellent oral and written communication skills Basic computer skills.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
Must be creative and proactive with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible.
Excellent attention to detail and high standards for quality of work.
Must be able to handle difficult situations and confidential material with sensitivity and professionalism.
Lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
, run/move to quickly supervise active play and prevent child injury, bending and lifting as required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
