Senior Water Treatment Process Engineer

Brown and Caldwell (BC) has an exciting opportunity in our Andover, MA office for a Senior Water Treatment Process Engineer with a technical sales and project management background. The successful candidate will assist in growing BC's Drinking Water business in Massachusetts and the Northeast Region, and lead teams to deliver exceptional service to our municipal and private-sector clients. In this role, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert for advanced technologies for drinking water and infrastructure projects, including support of pursuits and proposals. We are looking for a team member who has a proven track record of successfully selling, managing, and executing projects.Detailed Description:
Manage and execute potable water treatment and design projects.Develop and prepare process design drawings, specifications, calculations, plans, models and other technical deliverables for drinking water projects.Lead project teams in planning and/or designing a major engineering project and coordinate special planning, economic, and engineering studies.Provide consultation in specialized areas (water treatment design, storage, and delivery systems), make decisions, and solve problems.Read and summarize technical reports regarding water quality.Analyze data including water quality and plant operations information.Prepare and make presentations to clients and for professional meetings.Direct the work of drafters and designers and coordinate with other disciplines.Delegate and oversee the work of subordinate technical staff and engineers.Assist with and lead business development pursuits.Desired Skills and
Experience:
B.S. degree in related engineering field (Civil, Environmental, etc.) required; M.S. degree with a focus on water preferredMinimum of 10 years of progressively increasing responsibility in potable water system engineering/consulting including familiarity with the following:
master planning, hydraulic modeling, water treatment plant design, pumping design, and pipeline designProfessional registration in the State of Massachusetts or the credentials to obtain registration in a timely mannerStrong project management or project engineer skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations and prepare written reportsPrevious supervisory or mentoring experienceSuccessful marketing, proposal writing, proposal management, and public presentations experienceSelf-starter with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environmentResults-oriented with the ability to work under tight deadlinesKnowledge of standard software including MS Office and OutlookActive participation in local professional organizationsBenefits and Other Compensation:

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
