Casa Systems, Inc. seeks to hire a Global Payroll Manager to be responsible for activities related to the preparation and settlement of the companys worldwide payroll, ADP system management and administration, and is responsible for all aspects of payroll accounting, payroll taxes and reconciliation. The individual will be responsible for management of the companys stock option tracking and accounting, sales commission plan administration and vacation and benefit accruals and accounting. The position will report to the Director of Accounting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Ensure seamless processing and entry of data for bi-weekly payroll using ADP for the companys U.S. based employees and monthly payroll for the companys international employees through third party providers.
Ensure earnings, withholding, deductions, and similar items associated with pay are calculated accurately and implemented properly.
Reconcile monthly and quarterly payroll general ledger accounts.
Manage stock option system including entering of stock option transactions and assist with accounting for stock-based compensation.
Sales commission plan tracking, administration, and accounting including periodic accruals and reconciliations.
Responsible for preparing, reconciling, and validating the Companys accounting for employee benefits, vacation accruals, and 401K deductions.
Assume responsibility for 401K audit, maintenance of plan documents and filing of annual form 5500 plan reporting.
Manage consultant contracts and related disbursements.
Oversee the administration, management, and employee training on the companys ADP payroll and timekeeping system.
Review, update, create, and implement payroll, commission, benefit & stock option accounting controls, policies, and procedures.
Create, review, share, and respond to periodic reporting requests on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Apply payroll best practices to ensure effective utilization of the ADP payroll platform and work with management to improve existing policies, make suggestions for and implement changes.
Respond to internal and external audit requests promptly.
Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance or business preferred.
Hands on experience with ADP payroll platform required.
7-10 years of experience with multi-state and international payroll.
5-7 years of experience in stock option administration using an automated stock option software solution.
Strong communication, teamwork and business partnering skills.
Proven ability to constructively confront problems, assumes responsibility, and creatively solve problems.
Proficiency with MS Office; including Excel.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
