Principal Software Engineer Network Processor Data Path
Casa Systems, Inc. seeks to hire a Principal Software Engineer Network Processor Data Path to join its growing software development team. Position reports to the Director of Software Engineering, Routing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Performs work on embedded telecommunication systems.
Provides data paths for L2, L3 packet processes in a network processor.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and 10
years of related software development engineering experience in the telecom network industry
Experience in programming network processor
Familiar with details of L2/L3 packet processes
Fluent in C programming
Experience in embedded systems
Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
4
years of experience in EZ chip or other network processors a plus
Able to quickly learn new technologies, as required
Able to work in a high-pressure environment
Problem solver Able to be resourceful and figure things out
Self-confident Able to express opinions and influence effectively
Professional demeanor
